ALL CLASSES
Students took a Practice TAKS Reading test at the beginning of this week. Tests were returned yesterday or today (depending on the class).
We will be discussing specific strategies for the questions students had trouble answering correctly.
The criteria to determine a passing score has been raised this year. Please encourage your child or children to read every day.

ALL CLASSES are taking a Practice TAKS exam this week. This is not for a grade, but to give me an idea of which Objectives students are having trouble understanding.
Today Guest Speaker, Paul George, presented a character building workshop to students in grades six through twelve about "Making Good Choices".
OHHMS students, faculty, and staff are working on modeling respectful behavior on campus and off. Please encourage your children to say "Yes Ma'am", "No Ma'am", "Yes Sir", "No Sir", "May I please", and "Excuse me".
