Wow, I can not believe it is the last week of school. We have Semester Exams on Monday and Tuesday.
LA1 and LA7 are reading A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L'Engle. I did everything backwards with this title. I showed the movie first and then we started reading the book. There are many differences in the two.
LA4 is reading The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain. I just hope we will finish it by Thursday.
Hope all of you have a safe and fun summer vacation. Please sit down at least three times a week and have a family reading time. The more people read, the more they know. The more they know, the smarter they are. The smarter they are, the better their teachers look---I mean the more likely they are to become successful adults.
Hugs to one and all,
Connie Ratliff
