ALL CLASSES:
Progress Reports have been sent out. Please sign and return.
LA 4
Today students were able to choose the topic for Journal Writing Time. Some students shared their writing with the class. I want each child to read what he or she has written at least once a week.
We discussed “The All-American Slurp” and drew a picture to go with an event in the story.
Spelling Test will be handed back on Monday.
LA 4 PreAP
Journal Writing was “choose your own topic” today. Some students are more eager to share their writing than others, however, I expect each student to share (read in class) at least one piece of writing with the class each week.
We discussed “The All-American Slurp” which was read earlier in the week.
We reviewed Vocabulary by choosing four words to illustrate.
Vocabulary Workshop Unit 2 TEST on Monday
LA 7
We attended the high school pep rally.
