ALL STUDENTS
The end of the fifth six weeks is April 11. (actually I think it was seven weeks) Students should have all AR points by Wednesday, April 9.
LA 1 and LA 7
We are working on Strategies for the TAKS test. I don't want to wear them out, but do want them to know the format.
Pairs are trying to find information to compare prices from the 1930's to prices today. I had some Bay City Tribunes, but they were missing the advertisement sections. We will spend a few minutes each day this week to see if more items can be completed. If you have newspaper inserts from any edition of any newspaper, please send it with your child.
Spelling Unit 21 Test on Friday.

Groups are working on projects with themes relating to Walk Two Moons. These presentations are due next week. Am giving class time for preparation, but your child may need to practice his or her part at home. Each student has a rubric with details on how I will arrive at a grade for the group.
Vocabulary Workshop Unit 11 should be studied. Test will be next week after the Presentations.
