AR points for the 4th six weeks are due no later than Thursday February 13.

Spelling Unit 17 Test will be Wednesday, Feb. 12.

Projects for A Wrinkle in Time are coming along. Students will have class time today and Friday then we have to get on with other things. Projects are due on February 13 so I can grade them before the six weeks ends. Your child should have a copy of the grading criteria.

Spelling Test on Unit 16 will be Wednesday, February 5
Next Spelling Test will be Wednesday, February 12 over words in Unit 17.
We read a play based on the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. I have decided to have these two classes take the AR test on the book since I know they all participated in reading the play. It is worth 5 AR points if all questions are answered correctly. Maybe this will help them get the necessary points for this six weeks as I am not sure I will have time to complete reading A Wrinkle in Time to them before the deadline.

Groups of students are working on an end of book project for A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle. Each student has a copy of the Grading Guidelines for the project he or she chose.
Vocabulary Workshop Unit 8 Test will be on Thursday, February 5
