All Classes:
PROGRESS REPORTS will be sent home on Wednesday, December 3. Be sure to look for them. All students returning a signed Progress Report on Thursday will receive a daily grade of 100. Grades will decrease 10 points daily until all reports have been returned.
LA 1 & LA 7
New Vocabulary for Unit 7 was handed out today.
words for Tuesday: barrier, calculate, compose
Wednesday words: considerable, deputy, industrious
Thursday words: jolt, loot, rejoice
Friday words: reliable, senseless, shrivel
Vocabulary test will be one day next week. I need to see how quickly the words are learned.
LA 4
This class received the new Vocabulary packet, but we didn't have time to discuss the words.
We will begin with the nouns: agenda, clarity, leeway, maze, oracle
verbs: befuddle, conserve, induce, reimburse, vacate
adjectives: amiable, boisterous, compliant, gory, limber
more than one part of speech: blight, debut, gross, partisan, vagabond
Vocabulary test will be one day next week. I need to see how quickly the words are learned.
Shadow Spinner by Susan Fletcher should be finished by Wednesday, Dec. 3.
Projects for the end of this book will be assigned on Wednesday.
